There are two things I can’t leave the house without: clothes and a cell phone.
From the time I leave my house in the morning until I get home at night, my phone is an extension of me. It only makes sense that I accessorize it.
There are thousands of phone cases to choose from and with New York Fashion Week wrapping up, I can’t stop gushing over the couture collections. So, when I spotted a Michael Kors white patent leather wristlet on eBay, my phone was practically beaming.
This wristlet satisfies my craving for his hand bags as well as a cell phone case. It’s a new home for my iPhone and I love that Kors had everyday living mind when he designed it.
The wallet has enough space to tote around my credit cards, money and other small essentials. But, it was Kors’ versatile take on this cellphone case that made me fall in love with him all over again. His top-notch performance on accessories makes him one of the few designers who can get me to reverse dress (choose clothing to match my accessories).
I had retro vibe in mind as soon as we spotted the wristlet. Keeping with this theme I chose a faux fur vest, multi-pattern oversize sweater and a pleated metallic skirt that ties in the gold from the clutch. Then I finalized the look with a pair of ox blood ankle boots and a statement necklace to add a finishing touch.
All pieces are wearable for the fall season, but I will be carrying this new tote all year long.
